Our mission

Elite training,
a second home.

At Studio 1 we offer elite training in various styles from beginning to a pre‑professional level, while promoting a strong self‑confidence.

We value the positive life skills of hard work, responsibility, team work, dedication and determination. Whether a dancer is chasing a professional career or simply a place to belong on a Tuesday night, we want to give them the tools to get there.

“This studio, my teachers, were truly my second home growing up. They taught me how to work hard and be passionate. I hope to deliver those same things to my students.”

What makes us different

Why families stay for years

The highest quality experience in personalised dance instruction — in a comfortable, friendly environment where parents actually want to hang out in the lobby.

01

Placed by ability, not just age

Every dancer is evaluated each year so they land in the class where they will actually progress — never held back, never pushed past their technique.

02

A purpose‑built facility

6,500 square feet with three studios on sprung and Marley floors, four changing rooms, a dancewear boutique, a full kitchen and a big, bright lobby.

03

Faculty who grew up here

Many of our instructors are Studio 1 alumni who came back to teach. Our ballet director has led the program for two decades. That continuity is rare.

04

National‑level opportunity

LA Dance Magic, EPIC, LUX, Nuvo and Jump. Stadium of Fire. Disneyland performances. Our dancers hold regional and national titles.

05

CLI Studios master classes

Our students get online master classes from world‑renowned choreographers — industry access most studios this size simply cannot offer.

06

The J.A.M. mentorship program

Our Junior Assistant Mentorship program trains teenage dancers to teach — leadership, communication and classroom skills that outlast dance itself.
